I came to Blessed Sacrament Church in 1962 when the church was actually where the parish center is now. Hubby and I were married there 7-22-72. The stage in the school is where the altar used to be. Always have loved this parish and always will. Now I am one of the "gray tops" I used to think we're "so old". Haha. What goes around, comes around if you stay around long enough!!!
If you want to be spiritually fed, to feel the love of CHRIST, have a priest who genuinely cares about his flock...you've come to the right parish!
Home away from home... Great inspirational parish.
We have been parishioners at Blessed Sacrament church and school since 1999. We came from Pennsylvania to register our son for kindergarten. We were welcomed with open arms! The teachers and staff were friendly and very helpful! Father Gordon and Father Rick are simply the best! They will go that extra mile for you and always willing to listen and guide you in the right direction! We are so happy to be part of this wonderful parish!
A wonderful family! I feel so accepted and befriended! We moved here in 1989 and have been parishioners ever since. I love this parish.
My family moved down here in 1968 & I graduated from 8th grade here. We used to play volley ball where the Church is now & the orange trees smelled so wonderful when they bloomed. I loved Blessed Sacrament then and even more now. Both of my children were baptized here. My daughter did her confirmation and was married here. Her daughter, Faith, was baptized here as well. When I look at my grand-daughter and tell her "I love my Faith" I smile because it has a double meaning. I get that feeling because I am very lucky to have found the blessings and the family I have here at Blessed Sacrament. May God bless all of you who have made me feel so special.
We have been members of Blessed Sacrament Church for 20 years and we will never leave, unless one day..... When Father Rick forgets to have an answer to one of his jokes. All kidding aside, we have always felt welcome and both Father Gordon and Father Rick always give everything of themselves, in order to have such a blessed church. We feel blessed, because we are a part of this family and will always be thankful for that.
A great parish church, with loving clergy, dedicated staff, and faithful laity...with welcoming gratitude for all people.
Celebrated Mass on the 12th of July at Blessed Sacrament. Enjoyed the service. Will attend again next time I visit. Very nice Parish.
Blessed Sacrament has been my home church for over 40 years. My life would not have been as enriched as it has been without this parish. Father Gordon gave me sacraments, including Baptism. I converted to Catholicism at this church and Father Gordon was my instructor. I made life-long friends in this parish and still meet with them in a small Christian community group weekly. Father Rick gave me spiritual direction just last week and boy did I need it. You see, these priests love you and want you to experience the true joy that being a Catholic Christian brings. Blessed Sacrament is a wonderful church...and a friendly, caring Christ centered community that would love to have you join us. God Bless you.
Guided by the Rosminians, Priests of the Institute of Charity. This unique Parish & Catholic School truly works because Her Priests practice what they preach! That produces the most loving, giving, caring & Christ seeking Saints in Training! I am very blessed to work and worship here!
Fr Rick is always been there to advise and council. So genuine and caring for his community. He's quite the joke teller. Fr Gordon is a true Irish gentleman and we have always enjoyed his quick and no fuss sermons. It's always a pleasure to see them. This is a wonderful community church.
In April 1998, we moved to the area. We had been looking for a Catholic Church and I happened to drive by Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church. I picked up a bulletin, and David & I attended mass that Sunday. We found our home. From the music (it's the best in the diocese!) to the people in the pews, we felt like we were back in the parishes we had grown up in. A year later, we participated in a retreat called Romans 8 and made a 6 week commitment to join a Small Christian Community. It was a group of 8 adults gathering together to discuss the upcoming Sunday readings. Amazing, 16 years later, we still meet with the core of the group. God has blessed us with a rich faith life, centered on our church, Blessed Sacrament. Thank you, Lord, for the amazing faith community.
