We are happy to have over 20 catechists working with our young people. All of our catechists have been trained and most of them certified as Catechists, or are working toward certification through our Diocese. They have all been through fingerprinting and background checks and have completed their Safe Environment Training through the Diocese.
We offer a liturgically based catechetical program and are offering it not just to the young, but to the entire family. The emphasis of our Life-Long Faith Formation Program, which is comprised of Pre-K thru 12th grade and beyond, is a family/church partnership. Families, catechists and our entire parish works together to promote a lifelong relationship with God our Father. We learn about our Catholic Faith and apply it to our daily lives through prayer, worship and community outreach. We utilize several resources, including but not limited to: The Catechism of the Catholic Church, Faith First & RCL Benziger, K4J (Kids 4 Jesus), Lighthouse Publications and Our Daily Bread Publications.
